What is apoplexy in the book of treasure island?

In the story of the treasure island, the black sport (a pirate) tells bones he has a short time to tell them where the treasure was and Bones really shocks to the point of having a stroke (apoplexy) and his brain stopped getting oxigen for the bad news.  

the penalty for defying creon's decree is death, as can be seen in the tragedy. if you do obey him however, all is forgiven

the african society basically suffered the consequences of colonization and apartheid directly attacking the black people, first, during the colonialism and its main idea which which "white people" had better rights, affecting   them principally in the right to establish black people in their territories, access to quality education and health services and took away any civil right even to the black people to feel they have the same opportunities as the settlers.
