Ijust need some with a situation i'm in right now. so my parents are divorced and i live with my mom. i go to my dad's house every other weekend. i am currently at my dad's house. i am allowed to go back to my mom's house at 7pm on sunday which is today. i really wanna go back now though. i need to prepare for school and care for all my animals. i won't have time if i go back at 7pm because i also have to clean my room. i need time to do this or my week will be horrible. school is so tiring that when i get home i usually sleep for a while. should i ask to go back to my mom's house? or should i just wait until 7pm?

I feel you should ask to go back. I would advise you do it respectful and explain to your father everything you have on your plate, I am sure he will understand.  What is the worse he can say no?  I will pray for you and wish you the best of luck.

I use to think the same thing. The truth is, you should explain yourself to your dad, and then ask to go back. You won't know how he'll react if you don't ask.

i have read the novel roll of thunder hear my cry by mildred d. taylor.

1. this isn't like any other story i've read or watched because it is about a black family in mississippi right after slavery in the u.s. had become illegal. most of the novels i have read were about slavery. another point is that the author of the novel used symbolism in a way i haven't seen before. for example she uses thunder as something negative meaning something bad will happen. but by the end of the novel, she made thunder a good thing.

2.   one character that changed during the novel was stacey. stacey is the eldest child of the black logan family. around the begging of the novel stacey was avoiding the white boy jeremy simms. he had a dislike for jeremy's family. but at the end of the novel stacey began to like jeremy.

3. the author starts the novel with the problem that the children of the logan family have to avoid the white kid school bus while walking to school.

that is true because that is something they fulfill for their work.
