1. Wollstonecraft responds to this claim by saying that, although many people claim to be scared of "overly masculine" women, these women are nowhere to be found. Even among those who have received education. Moreover, if men are actually confident in their abilities and their masculinity, they should not fear that women might be able to share some of the same virtues that education has given men.

2. Wollstonecraft disagrees, because she believes that women were put on this world as full-fledged adults. They are human beings, with desires, interests and dreams. Therefore, it does not follow that they should only be thought of as companions to men. They should be seen as people in their own right.

3. Wollstonecraft disagrees with this statement. She believes that, although both genders should learn to control their feelings, neither gender should be deceitful about what they want.
