A0 is a literary technique that uses repetition of sounds in a string of four or more words.

There are more than one literary technique consisting of the repetition of sounds.

If the repetition is of vowel sounds or diphtongs, and if it happens in words that are close enough o each other for the repetitions to be noticed, the technique is called assonance. An example of assonance would be: She took the cat, the bat and the hat, but hurt her back.

If the repetition is of consonant sounds and the words are close enough, the technique is consonance. An example of consonance would be: He'd never let her, never allowed her to live her own life.
