This is my opening for a personal essay, does it look good? “how does a , orphan son of a and a scotsman, dropped in the middle of a forgotten spot in the caribbean by providence, impoverished, in squalor, grow up to be a hero and a scholar? ” these are the opening lines in what i believe to be the most revolutionary show on broadway. hamilton is a hip-hop musical about an unlikely american hero, our founding father alexander hamilton. the revolutionary of hamilton can be credited to its foundation of hip-hop in the music, the diversity of the cast, (choosing people who look like america today ), and of course the history, depicting some of the most dramatic times in our history.
