I mean, it says that the wind will hold steadly the masts and the white sails so we can figure it out the wind is pretty strong. Also it describes how they cannot do anything to avoid it but watching so it gives the idea of how strong the wind is.

for me i cant do homework without music, so, i guess i would say faster with it, than without it. for me at least.
