Does this poem include meter? "you are my victim now" he traps me in this room like a prisoner. never lets me go out. never lets me see the light. he keeps me up all night. the blood in my veins runs so cold. hands on my hips, wrists, and ankles holding me down like chains. his hands are the chains, i will never be able to be free of. he has full control of my mind. he's killing me so slowly. but the pace has quickened significantly. he's disgusted by what i've become, but he's made me become what i am today. he locks me away in this room. it has four walls, no windows, and is painted black with no light. he hurts me constantly. until i'm all black and blue, and i can no longer breathe. i think of giving up, frequently. i would never act on it though. i could never surrender myself to him, i couldn't give him the satisfaction of knowing that he was the reason for my death. he's never told me his name, but the shadows call him "depression".
