what is the best format for presenting information? why is it important to think about the medium you use for presenting information?

The best way to present information is pending on what type of information you are wanting your audience to learn or to know about.  The medium is how you present it, so if you are wanting your audience to know how to change the spark plugs in a car, writing an essay or giving a speech is not the best way to present the format.  One would want to show a how-to video or give a demonstration.  That said, if you are wanting your audience to know about you, a narrative for them to read or giving a speech with visual aides would be a better medium.
