What is the main idea of this passage? due to concerns about nutrition and readiness to learn, our school requires all students to arrive 30 minutes early and eat breakfast. it's true that some students don't get a good breakfast at home, and i believe the breakfast program should be available to those who choose to participate. but making breakfast mandatory for all students is illogical. first of all, many students prefer to eat a healthy breakfast at home. also, students who have busy evenings may prefer to do their homework in the morning. finally, it is expensive for taxpayers to provide breakfast to all students. a. eating breakfast at school should be optional, not required. b. many students have healthy breakfast foods available at home. c. not enough students are eating a healthy breakfast. d. proper nutrition in the morning ensures better concentration throughout the day.
