i’m nobody! who are you?

are you – nobody – too?
then there’s a pair of us!
don’t tell! they’d advertise – you know!

how dreary – to be – somebody!
how public – like a frog –
to tell one’s name – the livelong june –
to an admiring bog!

The poem's main idea is about isolation. The author or the point of view from which the poem  is being written from wants you to feel like your a nobody. Like they don't know you. It can also be based on social status. The idea of someone being a nobody in school, the unpopular.
