Skateboarding is not a crime!

some adults really look down on kids who go skateboarding. they tend to think of these kids as gutter punks, or thugs, or some such thing. well, i have known many skateborders, and nothing can be further from the truth. skateboarders are typically very intelligent. they are also highly courteous. the skateboarders i know would never hurt anyone! in fact, we (yes, i said "we"; i'm a skateboarder myself) tend to have a more highly developed sense of morality than most kids our age. the negative scapegoating of skateboaders needs to stop.

how do these two essays differ in their focus?
a) they both defend people who go skateboarding, but the first essay is written in first person while the second essay is written in third person.
b) they both defend people who go skateboarding, but the first essay is written in third person while the second essay is written in first person.
c) they both defend people who go skateboarding, but the first essay focuses on how skateboarders undeservedly have a bad reputation, while the second essay focuses on how skateboarders shouldn't be prevented from skateboarding.
d) they both defend people who go skateboarding, but the first essay focuses on how skateboarders shouldn't be prevented from skateboarding, while the second essay focuses on how skateboarders undeservedly have a bad reputation.
