When I arrived at my home, I saw an unfamiliar sight... the door was agar and the windows were opened. How is that possible? I asked myself. Father always locks himself in his room and hardly ever comes out. And Nathalie should be at the office right now. Could it be... No. It can’t be. She hasn’t visited since. Since I was a kid. I crept into the house through the back gate hoping to reach the comfort my room provided. “Audrey. It’s been too long. How are you?” I felt my back stiffen. “Mother.
