The Great Gatsby is a movie that takes place in New York 1922. The main character is Jay Gatsby, a millionaire man and the owner of a luxurious mansion where extravagant parties are often hosted. Daisy Buchanan, a married woman with a daughter. Daisy is reunited with her former lover Jay Gatsby, arousing jealousy from her husband, Tom. Nick Carraway, a young man that travels to New York in 1922, he lives in the West Egg district of Long Island, next door to Gatsby. Nick is also Daisy’s cousin, which enables him to observe and assist the resurgent love affair between Daisy and Gatsby. Tom Buchanan, the very abusing husband to Daisy, Tom and Daisy have cheated on each other, Tom stubbornly maintains that they both have always loved each other and always will, no matter what. While angrily road ranging, Gatsby accidentally runs over and kills the mistress of Tom. The mistresses husband seeks revenge and shoots Gatsby. Gatsby dies, Daisy stays married to Tom and Nick writes a book on all that had happened to Gatsby. The end.
