One christmas break my family and i were on our way up to our timeshare for christmas. my brother, mom, aunt and i were in my moms' car while my grandma, two cousins, and other aunt were in my grandmas' car. it was snowing so we had to get snow chains, we didn’t know that until we got halfway up and almost slid off the road. we eventually stopped at a checkpoint where you are required to have snow chains and we had to purchase them. they were $45! my mom didn’t have cash on her, only her debit card and they didn’t take cards. we waited 30 minutes for my grandma to finally drive past, we waved her down and she stopped to put her chains on. luckily, my aunt had cash on her and bought my moms' car snow chains. after 20 minutes, both my grandmas' car and mom's car had the snow chains on and we got back on the road. an hour into our drive up, my grandma was now ahead of us and our snow chains snapped! $45 down the drain, we are parked on the side of the road, it was snowing and super cold, no reception and we were trying to get ahold of anybody in my grandmas' car but nothing, nothing at all. eventually, i got ahold of my aunt in my grandmas' car and they weren’t too far up, she said my grandma got the car stuck! so my aunt, and i walked up the road to them. we got to my grandmas' car after about 8 minutes and we get her car unstuck. my aunt and i were walking back down to my mom, and she called me saying someone crashed into them. my mom was parked on the side of the road, right after a curve. all i asked was if they were ok and we ran down there. they indented the driver side of my moms' car and luckily my brother and her and been paying attention and were able to jump aside into the snow. everything was crazy but everyone was ok. after all, we got to our timeshare and enjoyed our time and stay. you must know how careful we were on the drive home, but we were safe! what kind of tone is it? what is the mood?
