one of the narratives told in march book three is of three civil rights workers that are killed (p.60-96). this event was dramatized in the 1988 movie mississippi burning. watch one of the selected clips below and consider the following questions:
1. what perspectives are represented in the clip regarding the civil rights movement in the 1960s? how might we view these perspectives today?
2. how does the movie present this narrative in ways that are similar to or different from our graphic novel march book three? how do these different modes of communication contribute to our thinking about the events described?
