As we read beowulf, one of the major themes, or central ideas, of the text is loyalty. since around 1,500 years have passed since the story takes place, our loyalties and what is important to us has changed greatly. in order to discover what is important to beowulf, we will first look at what is important to us. your job is to write rules for being a chivalrous* and loyal** person in society. create at least 6 rules that one must follow in order to be a chivalrous and loyal person then, write an explanation answering the following questions:
