I think that students are not getting the help they need. There are several contributing factors to this. The first being, that parents are uninvolved in their childrens' academia. If I could change this, i would encourage parents to get involved through various means. I would also push for legislation that provides better funding for public schools, and indirectly raises wages for teachers. I would also federally subsidize competition in the textbook industry to incentivize competition, leading to a better end customer experience in terms of cost and quality.
