1. Matthew B. Began his Gospel by tracing the lineage of Christ through King David back to Abraham.

In the first book of the New Testament, Matthew describes the lineage of Jesus, he starts by mentioning Abraham and David, and then he develops each branch of the genealogy and some relevant parts of the history of Israel.

" Thus there were fourteen generations in all from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Messiah" Matthew 1: 17 This extract shows how the main idea of these first 17 verses is sum up.

2. John C. Began his Gospel by describing Jesus before his birth.

John starts by referring to Jesus as the "WORD", and stating that He was with God from the very beginning, in fact everything was created through Him; so it refers to Jesus as from before his human birth. This is what the verse below makes reference to.  

"He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind." John 1:2-4

3. Mark B. Began his Gospel with the ministry of John the Baptist.

In the Gospel of Mark, we find his describing John while he is preaching and baptizing people, in fact he baptizes Jesus in chapter 1 verses 9-10. John also announces the arrival of Jesus as the Messiah.

"And so John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River" Mark 1: 4-5

4. Luke D. began his Gospel with the births of both John the Baptist and Jesus.

Luke begins his Gospel by telling the story of how Zecharia and Elisabeth would bear a son, although they were really old by then.

"But the angel said to him: “Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John." Luke 1.13

After this, Mary is announced by Gabriel (an angel) that she will bear a son, and his name will be Jesus and he will be the Messiah.

"But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High." Luke 1:30-32

Mary visits Elisabeth, the latter claims that his son jump in her womb when she heard the news of her being pregnant.

By the end of this chapter, the birth of John the Baptist is narrated.

also this is a really easy journal entry, you can just think of a skill your good at and write did you work hard to become good at this skill (ex: drawing, writing, math, playing music, etc.) or does it come naturally (like a cool trick that you can do with your body). you can do all of that in 150 words. just try and think of a talent and even if your bad at this talent just say your working hard to become good at it.
