in any story where a writers voice reveals embarrassment you might see words that describe the characters image. if the author describes a part of a book like this:   my cheeks were red or i wanted to run(also used for anger/frustration) it shows embarrassment.

and finally if the writers voice revels concentration the author might describe ways that the character concentrate for example: she was biting on her inner lip until it was raw but finished her report etc. it can be an example or a clue that the authors voice in the story is concentration.
