in this assignment, i be comparing and contrasting about the golden cat" and the cat and the moon, the first similarity is both about cats, and the names of the poems both have "cat" in them. another, comparison is both of the poems use imagery. third, comparison is that both of the cats are outside. fourth, comparison is both of stories are comparing the cats to something in the sky. fifth, similarity is both of the cats in the narratives are regal. last, comparison i found is both of the narratives utilizes embodiment. the first difference is the cat and the moon" has a genuine and secret tone, while "the golden cat" has a cheerful tone. second, contrast is the cat and the moon" is full of darkness, while the golden cat" is a joyful third, contrast is the last 2 stanzas' in the cat and the moon" rhymes, while the golden cat" does not. fourth, contrast is the golden cat" is a strong independent cat, while "the cat and the moon" is uncertain and scared. the last contrast i found is, the poems have an alternate tone. in conclusion, the two poems have similarities and differences. the cat and the moon" has an irate, puzzle tone while the golden cat" has a cheerful, happy tone. the word golden cat is symbolized as the sun, and the sun represents happiness and joyful. the word moon represents maud, symbol of ladies/women's
