the feud between the capulets and montagues affected the younger generation who are tainted by the feud. romeo and juliet are young lovers who are created as pawns by fate. fate uses romeo and juliet as pawns to restore peace within their families. their youth is the reason for their inexperience with love. this contributes to their rash and impetuous choices that lead to their death. their inexperience with love causes them to be too passionate about love that it affects their reasoning. they wouldn't be affected if their families weren't feuding. the actions of the older generation affects the younger generation. their parents feud forces then to make rash choices be together in secret. they're young, so have to depend on the older generation to make some decisions for them and follow through with them because of their passion to be together. the older generation contributes to their device because they make poor choices. romeo and juliet fall in love without knowing their true identities. but it's already too late for them because they already fell in love and their families feud is an obstacle they need to overcome.
