The author of "condensed Milk" orders events in sequence. The plot technique that he used was a dream sequence. The protagonist had a dream about an enormous can of condensed milk that had thousands of holes in which the milk oozed out of it. The author used this plot structure to accentuate the protagonist's desire for condensed milk. This can add tension to the story by leaving the readers eager to see if he would risk his life for the milk.
