What do you think about this ending to my story? ?

final chapter – forgetfulness

i never understood why my friends and family seemed to not care about what happened. i mean, i’m dead, killed by my own hands. and yet, no matter how long i watch, its like they have already forgotten about me. on top of that i do consider myself young when it happened, i was only 16. and the age alone should catch their attention, but it appears it didn’t. dad didn’t seem to notice i wasn’t around anymore, not surprised. mom on the other hand, i expected more tears and longer mourning. pretty shocked about that, she was all sad for 2 days max, nothing more. the person i was most shocked about though, is mr. wackit. to you it may not sound odd, but i barely knew the guy, plus he is very old, around sixty i believe. he was the only one to continue mourning over me. i guess its because he has witnessed so much death, but hasn’t everyone else? i really don’t know if it was worth it anymore, all i really wanted was attention. of course, i was dealing with many things, including the constant yelling in the house, the constant assuming dad, who just loved to punish. also, the constant bulling at school, never could get over that, being called things i would rather not mention. but despite all that, i never thought of dying, especially by my own hands. i guess it was really the attention i craved, to see their faces after i was gone, to see if they even cared. but i see my mistake now, i should never have done it, it was not worth it. but i can’t take it back now, its far to late. but maybe, just maybe, someone in the future, who goes through similar things like me, will think, before he acts. hopefully that person will decide to stay strong, and endure, rather then take the easy way out, and maybe one day, become that great person i was never able to be.
