FIVE REASONS WHY BEING KIND MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD:

We all know that kindness costs nothing and it is what makes us a good human being. But we never really look out for why being kind makes us feel good. Here are the reasons:

There’s an area of our brain called ‘striatum’ and scientific studies shows that when we do any act of kindness, this particular area is activated and because of this we develop an emotion of feeling good. You must have heard the saying that ‘Smile is contagious.’ Smile is one of the most effortless act of gentleness. And neuroscientist suggest that a just a simple smile have a power to brighten up someone’s mood. It has been proven that spending money on ourselves doesn’t give us that much happiness as compared to spending it on others. Research suggest that if we do any act of kindness, then we think about it for the whole day and that in turns gives our happiness the power and we become more happy. Kindness word in itself is powerful enough to make us feel good.
