He opened several bank account to achieve his dubious aim because he can’t be successful using just one bank account. He became a sophisticated con man. He was arrested severally and escaped severally before he was finally apprehended and sent to prison to serve a 12 year jail term, he served just 5 years before the US government employed him to work for them. Abagnale earns several million of dollars every year because he is an expert creating unforgeable checks.
