Although he moved to Centerville less than a year ago, he has already been named captain of the seventh-grade football and baseball teams. But there is more to Jacques than athletics! Jacques is a member of Ponce de Leon's Chess Club and recently placed third in a school-wide tournament. Jacques is surely one of the most popular students at Ponce de Leon. Abigail Addams has been active in student government since entering Juan Ponce de Leon Middle School at the beginning of sixth grade. She was elected to the sixth-grade Student Council at the beginning of last year and was chosen by the council to fill the vice president's spot when it became vacant halfway through the year. Abigail also served as chairperson of the committee that organized last year's very successful field day. She is liked and respected by all of her teachers and classmates.
