There are only a few instances in which I would run for
president. If the whole nation knocked on my door and
asked me to take on the task, I would probably acquiesce.
If the presidency was only mine for a day, I would do my
duty.

things would have to be pretty extreme for me to run for
president

A. There are only a few instances in which I would run for treasurer.

B. The role of president is not hard at all.

c. If I were the only one left on the planet, I might consider running.

D. I met former President Ronald Reagan once.
