How does the poet's word choice contribute to the hopeful tone of the poem?

I, Too by Langston Hughes

The poet word choice helps expresses hope when he incluedes himself in being America.

"I am too America" "I sing too America"

This words mean that despite all the discrimitation to black people, the author is part of America. These are powefull words.

Explanation:

All along the poem the author gives hope because the words used express even when he is rejected and sent to eat in the kitchen he smiles, and grow strong.

The author writes "tomorrow they will see how beautiful I am and regret".  This gives hope because it shows an idea of a different tomorrow, different as how he is leaving, and better.
