Read the passage: When Perseus went away from the king's palace, he began to feel sorry that he had spoken so rashly. He walked down to the sea, wondering, "How will I ever make good my promise and meet the king's challenge? I do not know which way to go to find the Gorgons, and I have no weapon with which to slay the terrible Medusa. Still, I will never show my face to the king again, unless I bring the monster's head with me."
