Please I need any information about "the function of the greek chorus or the chorus itself" from you own words and understanding (please not from the web) also your own opinion about this topic is so welcome. It's a very important assignment in my drama course I'll be extremely happy to read any answer

The purpose of the chorus is to provide background information or summarize what is currently happening in the story. Usually in the form of a song. They do not interact with characters in the story.

i would just say something like,

i need to go outside owner to pee, hold on owner let me mark this tree. i'm thirsty now "starts drinking water" now i am tired. what are you eating owner can i have some, you can't refuse my cute puppy eyes.

just make sure you write that in your own words that way you don't get in trouble.
