She then returned home after attending the Mount Holyoke Female Seminary.  

Emily Dickinson was seen as someone with a very eccentric. She was perceived as an unusual person, different from other normal people out there. Dickinson lived in isolation from other people. Throughout her life, Dickinson did not want to greet guests, and even did not want to leave her bedroom at one point. Correspondence was the base of her friendship. She also has developed a strong love for white clothes.

Dickinson has written more than 1000 poems, even though only less than a dozen of her poems were published. Dickinson’s poems are considered unique. She wrote poems with a lot of short lines and her poems also lack titles. She has her own style of writing, which is slant rhyme as her main style. Dickinson often wrote about immortality and death.
