which you describe three things about the character that are revealed by the sorts of things he

 The Humbug says, “It's something terrible, I just know it. Oh, no. Something dreadful is going to happen to us. I can feel it in my bones." This reveals foreshadowing and what will happen in the future. This reveals that the humbug has figured that something terrible will happen, and he has goo instincts.
