Many people believe that hard work is the only thing you need to be successful in school. However, a positive attitude is also important. Having an open mind and a good attitude is critical to a good learning experience. If students face a challenge, do they feel bad about themselves for not succeeding right away? Do they believe that they do not naturally have the talent, intelligence, or physical strength to complete a task? Teens with a positive attitude about learning will change their thinking from "I can’t do this” to "I can’t do this yet.”
