and jumped onto the haystack. He leaped into the air and grabbed the green kite. Ecstatic, he ran back home and handed the kite to his sister
2)Jerry sat by the pool the entire day. The air was heavy with the smell of fragrant
white flowers. Jerry closed his eyes and imagined that he was in paradise.
3) Jill dashed down the stairs. She stubbed her big toe and felt a rush of pain. But
she couldn't stop. She had to get to school on time. She hobbled down the street,
knocking over a few bicycle parked by the side of the road.
4) Thomas enjoyed visiting his grandma during
vacations. He loved the quiet, unhurried country life. He couldn't decide which he
