Describe entering a park in the first-person point of view. thank you guys

There I was, at the my happy place, the park. I was walking down the trail to get to the gate. At 9:00 AM, I heard the gate clasp open and it was time for all the fun. I felt my eyes burst with excitement as I walked in open handed.
