A national health care system would make it possible for everyone no matter how rich or poor, to get medical care. The truth is that the way things are today, if you're one of those lucky people with a good job and good benefits, you probably have access to decent health care through insurance. On the other hand, if you are unemployed or don't have a good job that offers health insurance, you have to go to an emergency room if you are really ill or go without seeing a physician for routine visits.
