What is wrong with this sentence and why? My colleagues supported my proposal for two reasons: first, it is practical and second, its simplicity. a. The sentence does not use parallel structure because "it is practical" and "its simplicity" are not parallel. b. The colon should be a comma because the phrases before and after are closely related. c. First and second should be in parentheses since they introduce items in a list.
