On page 96 of Chapter 7 Randy Adderson, a Soc tells Ponyboy that Bob's parents never punished him for anything, and if they had, he
wouldn't have been a gang member and gotten killed. Later, on page 110 of Chapter 8 Chery says that Bob was actually a sweet,
friendly guy except when he was drunk, and complains that adults sold alcohol to teenagers. Both of them blame Bob's death on adults
who failed in their responsibilities to him - either in raising him properly, or in not selling beer to him.

How much of Bob's actions do you think the adults are responsible for? Is Bob's death completely his own fault, or should his parents

and the people who sold him beer be held responsible? Why or why not?
