One day a boy makes a sandwich he is about to bite into when he hears

"Hey don't eat me you wouldn't like what i am made of!"

He looks down and the boy looks confused and asks did you just talk

i said "yes"

The boy asks"So what are you made of"

"I am made of the trimmings from the ground sirloin with sirloin bits and pieces." I say

he says" yeah right let me look it up"he gets his phone out and speaks into it his eyes grow big with disgust and

says "Well looks like i am never eating sandwich again"

I say and "Any way certain meats from sandwiches make you fart"

He says "Ewww"

I say "That is natural"

I am in a cozy blanket right now... I could stay here forever! Except I can't breathe. Actually, I change my mind. Get me out of here! As if someone read my thoughts, the white wrapper is taken off of me. I blink my eyes at the bright light shining down on me. I look around and see a person standing at a kitchen counter. I am lying on a plate. I struggle, but I manage to pop arms and legs out of my body and hop up. The boy turns around as I am stepping off the the plate. He looks petrified with his mouth hanging wide open. He drops a spoon with a loud clatter. I look at him and he stares back.

I try to give a smile, and say, "Uh...woof?"

"What--what the...you--" the boy stammers.

"Talk? Yes, I know. That may come as a surprise to you. You see, typically sandwiches don't do...this," I say calmly, gesturing to myself. The boy gasps and grabs for something.

"Well, uh...sandwich. I hate to break it to you, but you're my lunch."

"Your--?" I gulp. The boy pretends he doesn't hear. He just starts walking towards me.

"Hey, hey! We can work this out. Look, you can have my hand," I offer, shaking my little bread hand. He just keeps giving me an evil grin as he slowly steps towards me. I jump up on a hanging pan and jump to another, struggling to stay out of his way. Pots, pans, silverware, plates, and everything else topples to the floor as he runs around the kitchen, chasing after me.

"What is going on in there!" A woman yells from the living room.

"Lunch!" the boy calls back. She walks in and screeches at the mess. Her eyes go wide when her eyes land upon me, and she faints.

The boy and I stare at each other.
