Yes, it is important to wash your hands before eating but most importantly wash your hands after you touch any frequently touched surface. It is also important to stay away from people who are sick and if you are sick ISOLATE yourself in bed until you feel better. Germs and bacteria spread quickly so it is important to take precaution.
