It shows that her community is hypocritical because they act all righteous and moral, but they have no compassion for her ERNESTO I don't think I agreeI think they're just acting according to the morality of their religion, which says that you have to conform , and she doesn't there's no place for her. Those are the rules NINA What's kind of funny is that because there is no place for her, and she's cast out, she really starts thinking for herself . She becomes a kind of philosopher VIVIAN Right In way the fact that they ve shunned her because she doesn't conform means she has less reason to be part of their community . LISA really admire her, because my family had a similar experience at our old church . If you disagreed , you weren't welcome . I'm definitely pro-Hester Which student is most clearly contradicting his or her own views in this discussion? A. Emesto B. Nina C. Lisa D. Vivian
