There are only good reasons why Mom and Dad should buy me a car for my birthday, as I so rationally explained to them just minutes ago; a car will make everyone in the family's schedule less hectic. First of all, Mom and Dad won't have to pick me up late at night when I get off of my job at the movie theater, which means that their sleep won't be interrupted. Second, Reagan won't have to wait an hour-and-a-half after school to drive me home after swim practice. Finally, I will be able to help out more around the house. If Mom realizes, for instance, that she needs more eggs for something she is baking, then I will be able to run out and get them for her. There is not a single reason why Mom and Dad should not buy me a car; therefore, I should be receiving a car for my birthday this year.
