I think we should use public money to maintain the cities landmarks. The landmarks are what make our city, our city. If we don't keep everything looking nice, we will also loose tourist attraction money. We need to keep these pieces maintained because they are a piece of history. So lets say somebody is against this idea of using public money, there is 302,838 people living in St. Louis as of 2019 The St. Louis arch cost roughly about 16,000$ each year to maintain, so everyone each year would only have to provide 189.64 that's less than buying a toilet. This is why I think we should use public money to maintain national landmarks.
