Which piece of evidence best supports the idea that dehumanization increases immoral behavior?

In between 7th of April 1994 and July 1994, Rwanda witnessed a genocide which cost about 1 million lives.  

One of the instruments they the organisers (Hutus) deployed was to serially and consistently dehumanise the Tutsis by equating them to roaches and snakes. They used mass media as an instrument to program their fellow Hutus. It worked quite well given the number of people that lost their lives.

According to Professor Gregory Stanton, dehumanization (the act of degrading other human beings or equating them to animals, vermin or other derogatory objects or things) is the fourth out of ten in the stages of Genocide.

Genocidal governments have always used dehumanisation as some form of logic to justify their elimination of target groups. It is not surprising that President Trump's administration is now witnessing increased immoral behavior towards non-whites , as he (President Trump) has consistently used dehumanising words to qualify immigrants.
