Dr Jekyll believed that the soul of every human being was divided in two, being able to separate good from evil. And he began to experiment with this, succeeding. In this way he gave life to his "bad half": Hyde.

Going against nature and what is moral, made him lose everything in his life. He lost his friends, he lost his reason and control of his life. He even ended up killing himself in order to free himself from this evil when he no longer had control over it.

We can say that there are things that are better to let happen naturally, and that in life everything has to have a balance. No person should release all their bad side or all their good side.
