There are times when we think we’re not good enough, or can’t achieve our goals. There are times when people try to discourage us and crush our dreams. But no matter what, you can change anything from impossible to possible by believing in yourself and having motivation. People thought it was impossible to go into outer space, but Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin proved them wrong. People thought it was impossible to fly around the world, but Amelia Earhart and Wiley Post proved them wrong. People will say something is impossible, but anyone, even you, can prove them wrong by doing the impossible.

since a simile compares two unlike things using like or as, it kind of gives an item the ability to do something it can't.

example: "the player was like a tiger on the field"

in this sentence, the simile conveys the idea that the player was fast and strong, like a tiger.
