paraphrase the following story The alarm clock went off and Jimmy jumped out of bed. It was the first day of fifth grade. Jimmy was so excited because he was going to be a fifth grader. Everyone knows that fifth graders get to go on all the best field trips and are allowed to eat lunch outside on Fridays. If Jimmy is lucky, he may even get picked to be an ambassador for the school. Ambassadors are the students that are chosen to help the kindergarteners onto the bus and show new students around the school. Jimmy knew it was a lot of responsibility, but he was ready for it. Jimmy arrived to school on time. He was anxious to see if either of his best friends was in his class. The bell rang and the students filed into their classrooms. Jimmy looked around. Neither of his best friends was in his class. He was disappointed, but recognized some of the kids from his fourth grade class and sat next to them. He knew he would see his friends at recess and be able to eat with them on Fridays. The teacher went over the daily routine and described some of the amazing places they would go this year: the state capitol, a cave, and the museum of science. These field trips were going to be fantastic. After lunch, the teacher announced the ambassadors for the first half of the year. Jimmy wasn’t chosen, but was asked to be the substitute if the ambassadors were ever absent. Jimmy was excited to be able to help out. His teacher was very nice and didn’t assign homework on the first day. Overall, Jimmy’s first day was a success and he couldn’t wait for Friday, when he would be able to eat lunch outside with his best friends.
