In chapter 7, why does Huck wish Tom Sawyer was with him as he fakes his own death? He wants Tom to help him turn in Jim, Miss Watson’s slave. He wants Tom to fake his own death too, so they can run away together. He believes Tom would provide more imaginative details for the situation. He thinks Tom would have better tools for creating the fake death scene.
