This is very clever because when Odysseus escapes, the Cyclops calls for help. The other Cyclops on the island ask about the person who hurt him and he answers, "Nohbody." However, Odysseus is so proud of himself that when he feels he is beyond the range of the Cyclops, he calls back revealing his real name.
