How to write an summary for paragraph

Read the whole paragraph, write down the key points/main points of the paragraph, write the summary only using the key points. The summary should be shorter than the paragraph (I mean if the paragraph comes on 10 lines, then summary should come on 5 lines). Hope it helps!!!
